What Locard is

Locard is a noticeboard at locardlist.com. Professionals investigating violations of the law post notices here, and people who may have been affected can respond to them. Locard is not a law firm. It does not conduct the investigations described in these notices, does not provide legal advice or legal services, does not represent anyone, and is not a lawyer referral service.

Nothing here is legal advice

The notices on this site describe work in progress by other people. Nothing here is legal advice, an opinion about your legal position, or a promise about any outcome. Legal claims have deadlines that vary by state and by claim; if that matters to you, speak to an attorney rather than relying on anything written here.

Submitting a form

Submitting a form does not create an attorney-client relationship, does not make you a party to any lawsuit, and does not commit you to anything. It does not obligate anyone to take your matter or to pursue an investigation.

Please answer accurately. Investigations rely on what people report, and an inaccurate answer can waste both your time and someone else’s.

Contact permission

If you tick the consent box, you agree that the law firm conducting that investigation, or Locard, may contact you by phone, email or text about it. Consent is not a condition of anything, and you can withdraw it at any time by replying STOP or writing to hello@locardlist.com.

Accuracy

Notices are published as provided by the people conducting each investigation. Locard does not independently verify them and does not warrant that every detail is complete or current. A notice may be changed or removed at any time.
